Will a 97' Civic EX rear bumper fit my 99' EM1?

I was at the junkyard today looking for odds and ends and i came across a rear bumper for a 97' EX. The guy offered it to me for cheaper than ive found online so im going to buy it if it will work. Will it fit? thanks

Though '96-'98 coupe/sedan rear bumpers are shaped slightly different at the bottom ('99'00 curls in and then out, while the '96-'98 only curls in), the bumpers are interchangeable.

Hatch bumpers are all the same from '96-'00 though.

And of course hatch bumpers wont' fit on coupes or sedans and visa versa. The sides of the hatch bumper are much too short to fit on the coupe or sedan. There is no way to make them fit either (and visa versa - at least not without making them look awful).
