i have a 6g coupe, with no front bumper cover at the moment, or side mirrors (yeah i pulled a dumbass move and took one mirror out with a mailbox whoops, the bumper though, that's just lazyness, i made a ram air intake and havent had the time/incentive to bolt the bumper cover back on and it's pretty much a two person job and i dont really have anyone to help)

but back to the story... i have a dumped (behind the rear axle) straight through exhaust, no cats, no mufflers, just a pipe, with a curve down pipe on the end, attached to an H22A-S factory header.... so yeah, it sounds kind of mean under WOT..... but it's so ugly without the bumper or mirrors that people look at it think nothing of it..... or that it's a POS ricemobile or something... so i get revved on on the highway by neons and caveliers lol, and they're like WTF when i get on itand put bus lengths on them... the other day an older model C4 vette driven by some older man was surprised as [freak] when i stayed side by side him from 60ish to 140 on the wide open freeway... he had to pull over and wave me to follow him and find out what the hell just hung with him.... but yeah i kind of miss this sleeper feeling.... i had it back when i owned a white Laser RS-T (the ugly 1g turbo DSM) that i had steelies on, and a big 16g turbo @ 18psi, that was the best sleeper ever...

 

Is there a question? Or just a statement of how to can hang with a c4 vette. To be honest, chances are this was probably an early B2k c4. Which in case was only ran by 345 ponies. Plus the extensive body weight on those models do not put those cars first thru the line. Thus, being that it doesnt take much to keep up.

Have you taken any new pics of your 6g red top yet! Or did you find your build pictures. Other than the image that you posted of a red top sitting on a concrete floor strapped to a wooden pallet.

You jacked 3 threads throwing this C4 kill story in them. Have you done any more mods to your Red top or are you still dwelling on this C4 that you didn't actually beat. The base model C4 has a top speed of 189 Mph. Your 98 boat has a top speed of what 118 Mph. I'm sure he kept it sow so that you wouldn't kill yourself or anyone else.

If you look at his sig he has that he's running a 5mt.

 

the old dude in the vette was just trying to get in the right lane to exit, missed his exit, gave up, and decided to make up the time to the next exit by going fassssssssssssssssst.
