Hello from Scotland, UK! My MB6 Civic VTi-S!
Hey guys/girls. I thought I'd register on here and say hello! I'm always browsing, regularly drooling, and having a good read through the site.
I think technically this is the right forum, since its a Civic made between '92-2000. Just a European chassis code - MB6
My name's Mark and I'm a 21 year old Games Designer from Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. I used to drive Volkswagens (all Polos - my last one was a G40, the Supercharged mini-brother of the Corrado)
However, I've always had a love for Hondas and a year ago I finally decided to go for a 1998 Civic (MB6) VTi-S. It's a Europe only model, originally based around the early Honda Domani in Japan.
It's a 5-door hatch (in Pirate Metallic Black - the best colour
) with a B18C4 (170bhp, 8.5k, factory LSD), with 282/262mm ABS brakes front and back, front and rear strut braces, half-leather interior, headlight adjusters and washers, electric windows/mirrors/sunroof, red-stitched steering wheel, A/C, airbags, foglights, and so on... all stock items
My current modifcations include;
Daiyama coilovers
Stock wheels - powdercoated Steel 48
195/50/15 Toyo Proxe T1-R / Yokohama A539
Front-upper strut brace (yellow)
Rear-lower strut brace (yellow)
Yellow tinted front foglights
Colour-coded front grille surround
Colour-coded MA-chassis rear number plate surround
Satin black front H badge
Yellow calipers and carriers front and rear
Custom size number plates
Clear side repeaters
Here's some photos for you guys/girls!

Thanks for looking,
Mark!

Whats up, I cant decide if I like it or not, its definitly differant and looks clean but damn that trunk is just to short for me. Keep up the good work!!! and where the hell is the picture of the motor, wtf?

Im trying to find out how to do the rear window wiper conversion on my 97 ex sedan. I think I got an idea of the customizing part. but not sure if I want to do it. the third brake light would look stupid.

Here's what the trunk would look like open (this is an earlier model) and a shot of an engine bay too.

Look into JDM Civic RTi sedans instead. This construction is totally different. A few years back they passed a law that we need third brake lights on all cars in the US. So if you do a rear wiper, you might want to make sure you have a factory spoiler that has the third brake light too. US Hondas with spoilers have the wiring unplugged from the interior third brake light and plug into the spoiler light instead.

Thanks again folks
In regards to what NOFX posted, it seems you guys got a GM version of the Rover 400, which is essentially the same shell, in the States?! Is this right?
Does anyone have any photos of the bootlid of this car in the states? Or any other photos infact. Would be interested specifically to see if it has a US-plate recess... link me up! Cheers!
