I have a 91 Civic hatch with a ZC DOHC 1.6 L engine in it and i just wanted to know whats the best ECU to swap into it.

My car is also running real rough and when i put it into neutral from high rpms (above 2000 rpms) my idle drops down to about 200 and wants to die most of the time. i've changed the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, and the coolent temp sensor. It runs way rich and i get about 125 miles to a tank.

Any ideas because im stuck and i dont know what else it could be. Maybe a wiring harness. If you have any info on either topic please let me know. i could use the help.

 

Get a computer from a 1989 acura integra 5 speed. PG7 I think. If you have an Si computer and wired it up right, it's probably a bad sensor. Double check your wiring. It's always the simple things.

 

the 89 teg would fit the zc motor rite? but yah thats ill double check all my sensors and see whats up with them. thanks guy

 

check ur ecu see if its throwing any codes.
Sounds like a bad 02 sensor.

 

my ecu does throw codes. i havent got it checked out yet but about 15-30 minutes of driving my check engine light then turns on.
