INTEGRA HALF SHAFT AXELS HELP ABS AND NON ABS HELP ME PLEASE!!
OKAY I HAVE A PROBLEM...
I HAVE ABS AXELS.... IS THERE A DIFFRENCE BETEWEEN AN ABS AND NON ABS HALF SHAFT?
I HAVE MY PASSANGER SIDE AXEL IN NO PROBLEM... WHEN I PUT THE DRIVER SIDE INTO THE HALF SHAFT IT DONT GO THE WHOLE WAY IN AND CLICK TO STAY... DOES ANYONE HAVE A SOLUTION TO THIS? OR WHAT I CAN DO????
IM UN SURE IF THERES A NON ABS AND A ABS HALF SHAFT... I WAS TOLD THE CLIP ON THE END OF THE AXEL WAS BIGGER AND THATS WHY IT DONT GO IN AND CLICK... SO WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I REMOVE THIS CLIP/ RING THING?

That's what keeps the shaft in. Don't remove it. The ABS and Non-ABS are the same length and dimensions. Only difference is the ABS ring, if your car is Non-ABS and you got an ABS shaft, just remove that ABS ring and your good.

AND THE ABS RING GOES INSIDE THE HALF SHAFT AND THATS WHATS HOLDING ME UP? MY CAR IS NON ABS...

NO NO NO, the small ring (about 1" diameter) that goes in the tranny end of the shaft is what keeps your shaft from popping out. That's on both ABS and NON ABS shafts. The large ABS ring (about 4-5" diameter) goes on the wheel end of the shaft where the ABS would engages to prevent your brakes from locking.

yeah im not having the problem on the knuckle end... im having the problem of it going into the half shaft...
Align the snap ring so that your opening is up and then just make sure that it is lined up the at the right angle and hit the end of the axle with your BFH. Thread on your axle nut a few threads before you hit it, otherwise you'll mess up the end of the shaft. Just hit it hard, it'll go in.

well see... im doing a swap into a 91 hatch... i dont know if the front suspension has abs.. all i know is my axels are abs... i can get the axel to start in the half shaft but it dont go the whole way in... like i cant get it to go into the knuckle at all b/c its not the whole way in... i have one other thing im going to try and if it dont work i guess im going to give up on that stage 2 axel and go with stock one... but rather not.. i think i have tried everything... put the car in gear, out of gear wiggled it in... hit it with a hammer till my face turned blue... still now wheres... im going to look into the half shaft see if there are like grooves for the clip on the end maybe thats whats holding it up.. if not a stock oem axel is going in...
