was running before the motor was taken apart the only bad thing on the motor is the key way for the crank is broken need to replace the crank or you can make a new key way etc. comes with pistons, rods, crank, oil pump, water pump, tensioner, and if you want the greddy timing belt (the belt has tears on it) $100 FIRM thats a deal the pistons are worth at least $150 itself plus you are getting some etra parts good for you LS/VTEC builders
