Head Gasket install error... warping risk?
how big of a risk is it for the head and block to get warped with a bad HG install? the car has never overheated, but definitely a leak due to coolant consumption. the car also drives fine.

No it shouldn't but that doesn't mean its not possible. If it was me I would take the head back off and just put a new gasket on. I would be doing the labor, so no money loss. If it contiunes to leak after the new gasket then yes its more then likely warped.
It doesn't cost much take to long to have a machine shop check it but if you don't want to check then just put another gasket on and hope for the best.
Oh theres no need to make a new thread for this. Since you already started one.
