07 civic si muufler inlet size???

Default 07 civic si muffler inlet size???

Does any body know the inlet size of a 07 civic si muffler.I plan on using it on my eg just thought you guys would know.Thanks!

Bump! I know one of you know it.Please help me i heard it is 2.05",but that sounds small.I might have to go with the s2k muffler its 2.25".TIA!

2.25", I measured it myself because I was going to put it on my 92 hatch.

Thanks i want it for my 92 h/b also.I have 2.5 piping and want the least bottle necking as possible(cops are on my ***).Did you install it on the eg?If so hows the fitment?I can get s2k or 07 si for same price,but i know the s2k is a tight fit.Thanks bro! P.S. The guy selling the 07 si muffler told me it was 2.05 but that dont sound right.

Thanks alot.I know people who use the s2k muffler but i dont know how much modifying it takes.Once again,Thanks! Im trying to decide which one to get cause im tired of the tickets and harrasment from cops.

Well, the older S2k Muffler might suit the body curves and exhaust cutout better, but the Si is slightly larger at 2.25" and it is also a tad bit louder with a clean tone. The hangers might be a bit tricky with the Si muffler though.

Thanks!Would i be better off with a resonator or hi flow cat?Currently i have niether and sounds like doo doo.Im trying to have quietest sound with least power loss and a oem look(I know im hard to please). Thanks

Well, a resonator will help deepen the tone, but the Si muffler should do the trick by itself. You can always get a cut out for when you really need the power.

So,no hi flow cat. Well im scared it will still be noisy so im definately getting one probably just get a resonator.Thanks again!
