I have a 1996 Accord LX Automatic (non-VTEC) and almost every other time the transmission kicksdown on acceleration from 2nd to 1st I get a little rev and then the transmission engages. I notice the problem is inceased on harder downshifts. Hot or Cold engine/trans does not seem to make a difference.

The car only has 76,000 miles and the Honda transmission fluid is new and clean.

Any suggestions?
