desperate need of help!

Default desperate need of help!

my brake are always on and wont turn off. the only time it'll turn off is when i remove the fuse 15A for the horn. can anyone help me troubleshoot?

edit: my car is a 96 dx sedan

is it your brake lights? might be a bad switch behind(or in front) of the brake pedal mine did the same thing a while back...

brake lights. thanks for pointing that out.

how did you fix the bad switch?

check the fluid level in the brake master cylinder if it is low it will turn the light on

checked it. it was very very very low. i put in some brake fluid and it still stayed on. im gonna try to replace the brake switch.

If it was very low then that is most likely your problem. You may need to bleed the system if there was apsolutly NO fluid in the master cylinder.
