Default Fight threads appear to be most popular.....sign of healthy board?

Think about it. We are here for info-tainment. Useful new info is pretty rare. Good entertainment is likewise rare. Look around. Celebrity death match seemed outrageous, till it was cloned with the real thing. H-T, look at thyself.

Scott, who never thought he'd be part of anything so base....and enjoy it...

This is not exactly helping the situation either. (Unless otherwise thoroughly provoked, I plan on not posting on this thread again. It's not really competition - of cars at least.)

I would if I was a mod...but after posting an objectionable link involving Jennifer Lopez, any prayer of being a mod I had is gone.

would love to hand out some jackass avatars

Seriously you guys - controversy and conflict are part of a healthy community. If this place becomes politically correct I would expect it's complete worthlessness to follow shortly.

I have no idea what Ross got pummeled for - I wasn't a participant in that thread. But a knee jerk reaction in favor of locking any contentious thread is WRONG. Even if there is a sizeable percentage of personal attack, any moderator worth a **** must look at the key components of the thread to determine whether there's a benefit to it's continuation. It has been very clear that some key issues are resolvable only at a level of analysis or performance beyond most people. Such issues will then continue to live an undead kind of life. This is the equivalent of sitting by the hospital bed holding the hand of a loved one with a flat brainwave on life support and saying "well, at least he's still alive", but we need something to talk about sometimes untill something better comes along.

Think in terms of Austin Powers and Dr. Evil. You know how Dr. Evil doesn't want to hear Scott say things like "why don't you just shoot him.....***". That's what H-T is like sometimes - it's an overly elaborate plan with no real chance for success.

Scott, who thinks if Ross thinks he should get a jackass avatar then Ross should get one himself......unless Ross isn't thinking of Scott, in which case he shouldn't get one for himself....unless he deserves one for something else he did.....and how that involves Jennifer Lopez I don't want to know....

I'm glad I ventured here this afternoon!

Just to stirr the pot ... I ordered a 3" exhaust for my turbo ITR earlier today!
Anyone interested in a polished SMSP SS exhaust?

Hmmm, Ross, I don't think this is necessarily bad.....unless you had impure thoughts.

Scott, who hasn't really much to say in light of this current development....

I knew I should have lied to you......dammit!

oh well those are still respectable considering that was with street tires and braking issues

LOL!
My Momma drives better than you guys! (well, not really).

However, many many years ago I've done Summit (when there was only a "main" track) @ 1:38.75 or so in my 250K mile 87 CRX Si.

hehe and I was just gettng "in the groove".
Foamed a set of experimental carbon pads, no lifting through 3-4, late braking going down the chute!!

But not nearly as amusing when you're watching Warren come blazing into 5 with a handful of oversteer who MUST be telling his ITR "RAWADADAAAH! ARE YOU THREATENING ME?!"

Chris, who thinks Warren degrading to Beavis-and-Butthead chatter in the car would be downright hilarious yet somewhat disturbing

Scott - is re-hasing the issue healthy either?

Ryan - who's trying to understand why there's 2 threads going on the same issue, assumingly in response to the one he locked.
