Anyone know what car this mugen spoiler may be from, it's on an accord but I'm suspicious if it's for the 90-93 accord. Mugen never made anything for this chassis. A member in Malaysia stumbled upon it and it had "SM4" written in pen on the back, which is another Chassis code for the Accord.










it even bares a mugen badge

I recall hearing that Mugen made a lot of one off things that never made it to the market while doing research and development.

I asked in the Mugen thread, and someone said it might be the Vigor.
Then I found this, looks nothing like the "Inspire" which is the Vigor in JDM land.



any idea?

mugen never made any part for a CB7?!... hummmm.... how can you be so sure of that?!
And also... why do you doubt that it is not for the accord.... it looks flushed to me.....

Find me a mugen catalog and I'll pay pal you $1000 bucks. Mugen wouldnt just make a wing and call it a day, they'd make a full lip kit, suspension, and catalog it. They skipped the 4th gen, it went 3rd gen to 5th gen Accord for mugen parts.

Looks flush, but so does the DA Integra spoiler. Integras share the same spoiler as the cb7.

You got me interested in knowing if they ever did something for the 4th gen.... they must have right?!.. it's mugen....

4th gen, the forgotten chassis

 

i'm still thinking this is meant for your car. SM4.... probably is.
I know SV4 is for the accords and Isuzu's that looked like the 5th gen accord.

 

Mugen never made parts for your year sorry wilson, I have the catalog in front of me and it seems as if they purposely skipped that year...

 

that image in the brochure, is 100% the car we know as the Acura Vigor.

the chassis code of that would be CC2 I believe. try searching for mugen CC2 wing.

 

sure looks great regardless if Mugen never made it for that chassis.

Oh na, I dont really like it that much, it suits the 92-93 rear better than my 90-91. Like the DA 90-91 looks different than the 92-93. for accords. Yeah I have a USDM exclusive oem wing.



I just picked up a urethane rear lip, and new wheels.

They're Racing Gear Intermilano RG6, supposedly the te37s of 1996 ahha. SSR Type-C replicas I believe. I just needed the tires. Sparco wheels are probably going to get fully polished or power coated white.


Going to get handles, mirrors, rear bumper painted after I get my konis and neuspeed race springs on.
