Default Tranny oil ?

i owned a 98 teg that auto should i stick with the normal honda trans oil or is there anything else i can use that would be a little better. Some honda guy was telling me just to use 10-30 full sytheric oil is this true?

You can't use 10w30 in a Honda automatic trans. You need ATF. Honda ATF isn't expensive. Just use that...or get it flushed out at aamco for like $80. Get a full flush...not just a drain and refill since the trans is auto.

use honda atf diy easy drain and fill on top 3 quarts
