well, just got quoted $105 shipped for a carsound cat. However i was unaware they were universal units that required flanges to be welded on. Is this the way all high flow cats come?

 

i believe the majority of them come this way....like the catco i have...came like that

 

Landspeed racing claimed there "direct fit" POWERCORE cat would bolt right in ... no bolts or anything came with it ... and it did not fit .. had to pay an additional $80 for welding and gasket and nutzzzzzzzzzzz

IPS sells the prefabbed ready to bolt on setup for $165 I believe.

Have an O2 bung welded on. That is part of the prefab costs.
