help with trans id & parts

my trans is an s80 & the prefix is jh4db8 i broke my final drive & coutershaft teeth im looking for correct #'s to repair but have hit a stone wall locally this is my first honda build but im not green

What exactly are you looking for? S80/Y80 came from 94+ RS/LS/GS

I would get a '98-spec JDM ITR final drive kit that comes with a new countershaft, 1st gear, and final drive ring gear. You coudl probably get one for $375 new.

the S80/Y80 crap cant really help you id a tranny. if this is your original tranny then according to your vin it's a gsr tranny. just go the acuraautomotive and look up the part numbers.
