it has a 200 treadwear rating but the lifespan of any tire depends on how you drive...

i think they can last longer than stock's tire..since stock's treadwear is 140 and Azenis is 200 but it also depends on how u drive the car

I hear good things about the S-03, but so far my favorite tires are S-01 and
RE-010. I've been forcing cheap tires on myself lately, SP8000(basically free)
which were decent but not that grippy, P7000(dirt cheap) decent again but
nothing special, used 010 which despite being used, were still better than the
new tires i was buying. I am probably going to go with the S-03 on the next
round for my car.

Do you spend alot of time above 149 MPH?

EDIT: And the grip rating is determined by a tire's wet braking ability, that's it. Has nothing to do with much else.

Finally someone with common sense. What's the point of paying for z rated tires when you never get to those speeds anyways. IMHO, I'd be happy with H rated tires if they were sticky and cheap.

Tire technology is complex. Tread design, rubber compound, sidewall stiffness and treadware all play an important roll. Judging a tire just by its treadwear rating is NOT an equal comparison.

exactly. the azenis are far better for driving hard since their combined qualities are a wonderful mix to provide great handling for such inexpensive tires. no doubt they are superb, just under AO32R... which I miss a lot but not for the price...

I personally like the RE730's but am interested in the S03 as well. The RE730 has all the stuff needed for a good auto-x tire to a good street tire IMO

Yes, the Azenis are that good--much better than the stock 010s. Only street tires I'd consider for autox are the Azenis, BFG KD or S-03. Anything else just doesn't stack up.

I like the RE010 a lot, for the street. And track tires for the track.
