Whistling sound after letting off gas
Hello, after I finished my D16 swap into my EG every time I left off the gas it makes a whistling sound. You can hear it real well in the car every time I shift around 3k-4k RPM's and let off the gas. I thought it was originally the huge short ram intake I stuck on it but when we changed it to a smaller one the sound was still there. So I'm kind of stuck, any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.
its just blow-by. my d16 did same thing. nothing is wrong with your engine it is very common with those engine from what ive heard. its sounds almost like a "mini BOV" right?? thats what ive always heard.
Me and my friend just took off the throttle body and we just realized that there was one bolt missing on the bottom left of the throttle body. So we're got the replacement bolt. The gasket itself came off into two pieces when we took the throttle body off. We ran around looking for an auto parts store that would have the gasket but no luck. Not ONE store had it so now we're gonna try to make one.
Yes, it does sound like a mini BOV. Weird though, do you know what's making that sound?
