i got it for 1600. needs: radiator support, due to front end wreck. needs a stronger motor, due to the 70 hp r/c motor. needs painting after bdy work is com[plete. so tell me waht u think. how much would it cost to weld on a new radiator support. is there anyway i can get out of welding. i need to fix this so taht hood will latch all the way, and to get the head lights and chit lined up again.1600 good or bad.

How bad is the radiator support?
Could it just be pulled out by a frame shop or something?

I picked up this civic for $1500:

The body was pretty damn clean. It had a few scratches on the front bumper though. It had a sohc zc bottom end w/ a vtec head on it (the motor had rod knock, though), intake, 96-up front seats, some neon , and some lovely euro clear corners .

If your cx motor is running decent, I'd say you got a pretty good deal. Its hard to find any '92-'95 hatches for under $2k these days.

Good luck w/ the project man. Keep us updated.
