hey guys , i just got a optional center console from a friend for free. the only thing is that its missing the ash tray. is there another 1 that your using. they dont sell just the ash tray by its self.

As far as I'm aware, you have to buy the entire thing.

The EPC sure doesn't list the ashtray part separate.

Because they're not standard equipment on any US Civic. The chances of finding one are low.

really..?? my usdm dx came with one, an if that has one i figured they all did lol... i mean c'mon, they didnt even install rear speakers into my car from honda haha..

Looks like at least some fifth gens did. Sixth gens did not (and they're relatively difficult to find).

On the fifth gens you can buy just the ashtray part separately.

OP, search for "oem seller". You'll see a list of sites that sell OEM Honda Parts. You'll also be able to see all the parts Honda sells.

I'm not sure which year the OP has though.

If you EVER want to know if Honda sells something... call them and ask.

Please.

It's their job to find it for you. You don't need a part number and you don't need confirmation that they sell it before you call them.

They're used to dealing with people who want to buy things that they might not be able to sell, are discontinued, or the customer is just a jackass.

These ashtrays come in different colors. So make sure you know your interior color and that the assembly matches your interior color. The color code should be in the driver's door.

Oh, and the EPC shows the ashtray part separately. So in the event that you're told they can't get it to you, it'd have to be discontinued. Sometimes they need to look under different trim levels or years. And sometimes you get a stupid parts man. Call back in a few days and try to get someone else.

 

is there any other ash tray that fits my optional center console for my eg. dint have to be the original, i just hate the empty spot.
