Default engine building books

hi all just had a question. Does anyone know any good books for engine building? not your basic how-to manual but a complete engine tear down rebuild guide from the bare block all the way up to the manifold?

A Honda shop manual for the year/make/model your engine comes contains a blueprint engine build. Don't get much better than that for a Honda engine I wouldn't think. They are engine(s) specific. For example I have the Shop manual for a CD7 94-97 Accord. It covers the F22B1 & 2. It goes from how to get it out of your car right down to each bolt, it's size, thread pitch and torque specs. It also has every single clearance and tolerance for all the engine parts including the block, head,, throttle body, exhaust and intake manifolds.

If you need more than that your going to have to get into the head of an engine builder and try and get his secrets out of him.
