need serious advice about bent valves...
ok here is the story. just changed the head on my 95 accord F22B1. Everything was going smooth till i tried to start the car. 4got to tighten up a bolt on the timing belt tensioner and timing belt jumped a few teeth when i started the car and what could go wrong went wrong...now my baby is in the shop wit some bent valves...so should i have them change the entire head or have them put new valves...i have no i dea what to do right now can i get some advices...

what do you mean by lapped into the seats??? sorry new to this situation...by the way how broke is this gonna make me if anyone has an idea..
when you have valves lapped they take a "grinding compound" and make the seat in the head perfect to the valve, the idea is that the new valve wont seat perfect because its made to a spec. not specifically to your head
ok i appreciate the advice i will be it up the machanic this morning when i go see him and hear what the damage is going to cost me for them to do...
