Hankook Tires? Good or not good?
So I just picked up some new rims. Front have Drag Radials and rears have brand new Hankook Ventus HRII's. I hear they are pretty cheap. I have only used and delt with Falken Ziex ZE-512 and I love them. I've searched around for reviews on the Hankook's and people are pretty satisfied with them. My question is, should I go with the Falken's in front? Or just give it a shot complete the full set of Hankooks?
I have used both on my del sol and I like them just fine! I don't know if there any better or any worse than the Falkens. I'd definitely go with the matching set.
There are tires that are worse and tires that are better. I have never ran a set, but from what I have heard they are a pretty decent mid-range tire.

I am on my second set of Hankook Ventus HRII's and I like them. They do good in the summer and on wet roads and the grip in the corners is pretty good.
There are of course a couple of down sides to them. First off they are not the best on snow on ice but that's to be expected and also they ride a little bit rough when they are cold. Once they warm up they are fine. Considering the price, I'd say they are well worth the money

There's a huge list. If you're talking hankook, then the RS2Z212 is pretty nice. I use them for track tires on my S2000. They hold up to my severe beating pretty well. They also grip very well. For a lower demand, light, and relatively lower power car like a stock civic, they would work AWESOME. They heat up fast.
The falken azenis RT615 is another good and cheap option.
Dunlop's new direzza Z1 looks pretty nice. I'm probably getting a set of those to put on my ADVANS.
The Bridgestone Potenza RE01R is awesome. They only reason I didn't get them is that they were not available in the sizes that I wanted when I was looking for tires.
The BFG KD is what I used on my SR20'd S13 and it held all the power very well while road racing.
The Yokohama ADVAN neova is tried and true...but very expensive.
The tires I listed are in order from least to most expensive.

I run 205/50/15 Ventus HRII's and love them. Awesome grip and they wear very nicely. I'll buy the same thing again when it's time to replace.
