how to take cap rotor outta my 96 acura integra?

i am trying to remove the rotor off of the distributor.
i am not getting spark and trying to see if its my distributor or not.
if the dis isnt the problem can someone explain what to check next?

i found the phillips screw behind it........

but now i cant get it to turn..

how do i check and see if my distributor is bad?
