Things that need fixing.

1. Rust! Yes, rust on an EK.. The hatch area at the top is particularly bad.
2. Big *** dent and shitty attempted body work from previous owner on passenger side. You can see it in the pictures.
I'll probably order a new quarter panel from work and replace the passenger side, then cut the rust off of the driver's side and use the old passenger side quarter panel to weld it in..
3. No front lip
OEM Urethane CTR is what I'm gonna buy.
4. Burns oil
Pretty sure she needs rings. I've been a little hard on her..
5. Needs new tires soon.
6. Needs to be tuned.
Right now it's on a stock mapped OBD1 P72.
7. Needs an alignment.
Taking care of this on Wednesday at school.
8. Some crazy wiring issues...
9. Drum brakes!!!!!!! :eyes:
10. 3rd gear grinds at high RPM and 4th gear pops out when not warmed up..
11. No AC!

Pretty sure that's it..

Plans

1. Install Circuit Hero Shifter Extender.
2. Sell GT3s.
I'm hoping to buy a set of 15x6.5 Kosei K1s in flat black. They need new tires but I'm gonna buy Falken Azenis for em.
3. Buy and install CTR front lip.
4. Swap stock EK rails onto 2000 grey LS seats I have.
5. Swap in GSR rear disc conversion w/ 99-00 Si E-brake cables.
6. Powdercoated GSR valve cover Midori (or as close as we can get to it) green. If it doesn't look good, yellow it is!

Now this is where my plans get hazy, because I change my mind more than a [freak]ing woman.
Right NOW, I'm contemplating buying another Midori hatch that's stock. I'll daily drive that while I pull the motor and trans from the current car. Swap suspension and whatnot from current hatch to the new one.
Then either sell current hatch as a rolling shell or part it out. Depends on interest.
In the meantime, rebuild GSR (engine and trans). I might go with a custom geared tranny, just because I hate the short gears on the highway. I know I want an LS 5th. That's as far as I've gotten on the researching part of that..
I'm not sure if I wanna build a high compression NA motor or a low compression turbo. I guess I'll decide later.
If that turns out like that, I'll definitely be building a Midori Green Pearl Civic Type R replica. Complete with red carpet, floor mats, and CTR Red Recaros and all that JDM goodness...
Christmas anyone? Lol.
I would also keep it 96-98. I personally don't like the 99-00. Crazy? Maybe..

Man that felt good to get that down somewheres.

Also, I thought the real name of the paint was Midori Green Mica (sp)?
