hi

My accord has 140000 k miles on it. Recently its check engine light has come ON.


The Diagnostic engine code comes as PO305-#5 CYLINDER.The mechanic suspected its due to bad Spark Plug and chnaged all 6 of them nealy a month and half ago. The light was OFF for a month but came ON once again 2 weeks ago with same PO305 code. again he changed Its Spark plugs and now after two weeks once again the light is ON .

Its twice in 2 months the code PO305 has appeared that its Cylinedr no 5 is mifiring.When it was 122000 k miles I had its Water Pump,Timing belt, Plug, plug wires etc replaced from delaer.

What should i do to get it solved? Please advise.

how are your plug wires?

 

I changed the plug wire from dealer a year and half ago. On inspection these looks good though.

However i would change these also.
