Need help asap this morning!!!
Hey so I grabbed the axles under my gf's car once I got it jacked up and the passenger side axle (mitsubishi galants are reversed, tranny on drivers side) and the axles was making a clicking noise and NOT tight in the tranny....so is this a tell tail sign that THAT axle is the one causing the shaking in higher gears ONLY upon acceleration?
Does this sound like a new axle should fix the problem?
Also, I am a bit confused on how to get the ball joint out of the control arm? Unlike our ITR's, which have the nut at the bottom to remove, hers is a flat piece of metal? Does anyone know what I'm talking about and have a quick advice on how to get her knuckle free?
Thanks guys! I gotta get this done today!

Hey totsie, If it's flopping around in the trans or at the joints, then yea. Even if its not that noise, thats not safe lol.And the nut might be under the axle boot or you might have to pull the knuckle down off the strut like on a taurus??? Just a suggestion, cars suck..Good Luck
