Default Mugen oil pan questions.............

I am currently running a B series Moroso oil pan with the stock capacity, not the extra capacity model. It has an internal baffle similar to the Spoon or Mugen oil pans, plus it has ports to run oil lines for turbo.

I got my hands on an ITR engine/transmission stiffener brace. I went to put it on and found out that the Moroso oil pan is not quite shaped like a stock P72 oil pan. Therefore, I could not install the stiffener brace.

So the question is...............

Is the Mugen oil pan shaped EXACTLY like a bone stock P72 oil pan? Or is it a real P72 oil pan with the baffle added by Mugen?

If so, then I will ditch the Moroso oil pan and go with a Mugen oil pan instead. I thought about the Spoon oil pans, but they are way too pricey. Also have heard about mediocre quality compared to the Mugen pans.

It's fairly easy to modify that bracket to make it work with the Moroso pan.
