could it just be wind??
Ive heard of certain intake manifolds/t.b's making a whistle but that was every time you rev it or accelerate, not just at one certain speed..
what engine/intake setup do you have??

there's probably nothing wrong with it. Sometimes hondas whistle. It's how they roll. My D16Z6 did it, my B16A did it. My friends B18C5 did it, my other friend's D16Y8 does it. My F20C does it. My B18C1 did it. My current B16A does it. I could go on.....
my car used to whistle bad...then i took the bike rack off. problem solved. cars do that when there is a small gap somewhere that may only open up at 60-70 mph. thus creating this confusing problem. check clips in the front. bumper, hood, that rubber thing under the hood. its not going to go away completely though.

lol i've heard that whine. It's totally different. The sound I was referring to is like an actual whistle. But I do know the whine you're speaking of. My friend had a 85? Crx. Winter drift monster....with a hole in the floor from sliding into a tree stump.

Because there are different reasons it could be making the sound. Lots of ideas have been proposed, but how in the hell are we supposed to diagnose every car that's ever had this generic sound from somewhere on the front end (or anywhere)?
Here's the closest you're going to get to a solution to all of the whistling.
It's caused by air.
It's either leaking in or leaking out, thereby causing a whistle. Honestly, it doesn't even have to be leaking at all, as long as it's passing over the right kind of surfaces (like the guy with the roof rack that whistled).
Where's it's leaking in or out of depends on the vehicle. As you can understand, there are an awful lot of places for this to occur on a vehicle.
