My brothers car.

auto
When you hit the gas from a dead stop, the car very, very slowly begins to accelerate. There is NO quick accelerating with this thing. People honk at him because he leaves stoplights so slow. Its the tranny, it just doesn't grab.
Its been this way for a year now so my brother doesn't think its the tranny itself. What could be going on here?
