I am swapping out my 05 clear tails for JDM 03 red tails. I have not paid for them yet, and I am wondering if I will have to modify the bulb socket to fit in the lens holes? I know the brake/tail light will go in the top (where our turn signal is) and the turn signal will go to the side (where we have nothing) and the reverse light is the same.

 

Okay, I got the breakdown on how to swap the bulb connectors over. Now, does anyone know where I can get new gaskets for the JDM lights?

 

My guess is the gaskets would be the same as an 02-04 and you could go to Honda and get them. It's only an assumption tho.

 

The bulb holes are in different spots though.

 

Also, does the bumper have to be removed to swap the tail lights?

 

BUMP. Also, I got the info on how to swap 02-03 USDM lights to an 04-05 as far as switching bulb connectors, but is it the same as the 02-03 JDM lights? I have paid for them, but haven't gotten them yet and before I order the parts from Honda, I would like to know if the parts are what I need to swap over the JDM lights. Thanks.
