BDL FUEL RAIL QUESTION
i got a BDL fuel rail and where the FPR and fuel pressure gauge goes the hole appears to not be drilled out all the way. i was wondering if all i do is drill it out or sumthing? and also the fuel pressure gauge hole is the same way and when i try to thread it in its kinda tight like the powercoating on the threads wont let it screw down all da way do i need to take sumthin to rub the powdercoating on the threads off? and also what should i use on the threads of the gauge or will it leak without sumthin on the threads?

Yes they do that so if you are not running a FPR that mounts on your fuel rail you do not need to plug the hole. If I remember correctly they have it indented so when you drill it out the drill will start straight. Just be careful you do not hit the threads when drilling. Also when your done spray some carb cleaner in there and blow it out with an air gun really good to ensure you got all the metal shavings out.
If you can not thread the Fuel Pressure guage down just run a tap through it to clean up the threads. I would use some teflon tape or paste on the threads to ensure you have no leaks.
