it doesnt matter if you switch the gauges from you ls one, it still wont work. switch the green layer on the back from you ls one to the gsr one then it will work. OR switch all the gsr gauges into your ls cluster and use the ls cluster

I don't recommend swapping films if your car is a 94-97 and cluster from 98-01, or vice versa. You'll lose your ABS light.

I highly recommend swapping all of the four gauges from the GSR cluster into the LS cluster housing.

my car is a 94 im not sure what year the other gauge cluster is. it does have a abs light on it. i want to say that the guy i bought it off said it was a 95 or 96 but i am not 100 percent. also the light on my speed( the one that shows how fast you are going) is dim. the miles are lite up fine.

So, you have the 94 LS cluster with the 94 LS cluster's film on and the GSR gauges in the 94 LS cluster housing?

Your fuel gauge should have worked unless it's a bad fuel gauge. Can't you reuse your LS fuel gauge since it should be the same colored faces (94-97 gray, 98-01 black)?

Try one more thing. Swap everything back into the GSR cluster housing. If it's from a 95, it should work.

it sounds like you mixed everything up

which ever cluster you had before...take out all the gauges. leave the film. the new cluster. take out all the gauges and put them in your old cluster. anything that doesnt work. switch back. that should fix your problem.

to be honest i dont know. it has something to do with the wiring in the car and the wiring in the cluster. they have to match. just do what i said up there^^^ thats what i did and it worked fine... if you notice the abs and seat belt lights are in different spots as well. so just swap the gauges and your good. keep all your old ones incase you want to sell your cluster so you can put everthing back.
