how do i take these springs?
Last weekend, me and a buddy of mine went scavenging around our local junkyard. They have a fair share of imports there. As we were walking around I can see a bright orange DA Integra with a body kit and other dumb stuff. I walk over to check it out, and I see that it has nuespeed springs with tokico blues. I asked the owner of the junk yard how much for the setup (I only want the springs) he said 30$ for everything.
So my question is how would you guys take off the springs? Remember I don’t think I can lift the car because it is sitting on its rotors in sloppy mud and the jack will just sink down. If I cut the shocks will the springs come off, or will they fly off in my face because they are compressed in there?

Throw a reasonably long 2x4 under the jack and lift the car.
If you don't want the shocks, just remove the top shock shaft nut with the tophat pointing away from anything you don't want damaged. If the springs are preloaded, then you don't even have to worry about that.

well we went back to the junk yard today, and tried to get the springs. sadly we didnt get all of them off. we could get the front two but the rear two top bolts were just spinning and not going anywhere. what would i do with two springs anyway. next time i go i will ask the owner of the shop to cut the shocks out.
