Default limited options for track, 2055014 bf drags or 14x20x8 slick, 300 hp

i know both are too small for my hp level but the slicks i was gonna run now my friend needs them so im down to either my bf drag radial 205 50 14 or my MT 14X20x8 slicks.. which would help the best?

the 20x8 is way too small for that hp. The drag radial is also not the greatest choice since it doesnt have that bite that a slick does. In this case, its really hard to say which is better.
teh 205x50x14 translates to about a 22" tall tire. so in that case, the taller tire IS a better choice for your turbo setup. but then its a drag radial and it wont hook as well.
The 20x8x14 isnt a good tire to use since its so small, that you might run out of gear at the top end easily or spin that tire at the launch and overpower the tire. but then again, you may hook a lot better than a drag radial would.

Personally, I would take my chances on the drag radial and try to cut at least a 2.0 60ft on that. Even though you dont have the bite that a slick does, you can probably make it up on the top end(I'm assuming this is a turbo car)
IF you use the 20x8 slick, you may get a 1.8 60ft, but if you spin some, you lose gearing and you wont be able to get the mph you need to make it up on the top end.
