Default NASA Registration via www.timingroom.com

I just know someone out there can help me...

I've managed to get to the part where I "pick my package" and have chosen one (1) Competition Licensing School - Full Package for the August CMP weekend. At this point, if I hit "calculate" nothing happens. If I hit "continue" it tells me that I "must select at least one package". See, best I can tell, I've done this selecting thing. Anyone know what it is that I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance!

Seems to work for me.

I wonder if it's an incompatibility with the browser you're using. I've always used IE6 with that site and never had any problems.

You are using either netscape 4.x or IE less than 5.0. You either must download an upgarde or call me and I will get you registered.

We put a warning on the home page at timingroom.com about that. Do you see it?

I just don't get it! How hard is it a make a freakin' standards complient web site? It's not like that site is doing anything ground braking. Just a couple of forms. Sheeesh.

The reason is that Netscape 4.x versions have a lot of problems. In fact a majority of sites no longer support that. So it's just that the programmer and ower of the software is trying to make it easier for the majority - right or wrong.

Oh by the way - this is NOT just a bunch of forms. Beofre you say something like this you should know what you're talking about.

Sorry - I've put a lot of time into this - with Adam Richman to start and now this person who also programs our timing softwarwe. I know what is behind this.

If you have some constructive ways around the problem, I am all ears. IM or email would be fine -

Thanks

It is very easy to make a "standards compliant" web page. The trouble is, it won't work in ANY common browser. Very few browsers come close to being standards compliant, so very few web pages are either. This is especially true for versions of browsers that had early Javascript support.
