shifting problem

Default shifting problem

problem might be i change the bushing that hold up the shifter already...


when i start the car up the car goes in to gear...but once im at the stop light...and i take the car out of gear...i have a hard time putting the car back in to first...i have to play with the shifter in order to ge the car in to gear...you think it the bushing or the shifter it self....i didnt have this problem before...


what should i do...i been having this problem for about a month now... plz help...

When I occasionally have this problem, releasing and pushing the clutch pedal back down often helps, although I'm not sure about the cause of the problem. It has helped some, however, to change the manual transmission fluid.

chech the bitch bolt in the shift linkage where the linkage bolts to the trans i had the same problem after my gsr swap in a 92 hatch. it totally fixed mine.
