well i found this website

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

but they sell the tranny piece by piece ... so im wondering if i should just check what parts of my tranny are messed up and buy the part that are messed up and rebuilt the tranny. because the main parts that got messed up were the case and the teeth on some gears. so what way do u guys think i should go?

~$3100 new from the dealership, with labor at an independent shop you should come out well under the $6000 the dealer wants.

6g's Jesus that's a bit expensive! I had my car at Honda for the last week for the tranny. they called to tell me my car was ready. on the way to the dealer they called back to say that the syncros they installed did not help. they needed to keep my car for a few more days to replace the tranny. the good news is Honda is fixing this issue by giving me a new trans. by them replacing my tran's they are setting precedence! good luck to everyone with this 3rd gear issue keep on Honda's *** and they should do the same for you! now to get that rear camber fixed!!

dont rebuild. its gonna be about the same price to get a new one. and yes, they are pricey as hell. the dealership charged me 8 grand for my longblock when i popped it. the tranny was still good so i didnt have to pay for that. my neighbor had a motor and tranny with 10k miles on it. i'll check and see if he still has it. he said he would take a grand for the tranny. not too shabby

I can sell you one brand new with 12 month/12000 mile warranty for $3000 plus freight from AZ to CA. Let me know I can order it from Honda as soon as Monday. You can save money on freight by having it shipped to the place that will do the work too.
