yeap, got lucky, i guess. damn your **** was putting down big power too, that sucks. were you smashing when it [freak]ed up?

 

not at all. thats the thing. i mean i was driving it hard for about 30 minutes before it happened and accidentally misshifted, but it was anything crazy. i didnt rev it past 9, which i do all the time under load because thats where my rev limiter is set.

like 25 minutes after that, i was cruising at 75 and it just died.

well guys, to be honest, i seriously considered getting out of the game and buy an evo or something. something new, something more reliable.

but then i hit myself in the head and thought, "im in this for the long haul. this isnt something i can just jump out of because im ALWAYS going to miss it."

i feel for ya i through my piston out my block it was a k24 with k20 head and head work done..
found out that i hit my oil pick up in my sump whcih didnt allow the motor to pick up oil so it blew cause it was under load..

sux but **** happens aye..

spoken like a true elitist itr owner.

 

well, after thinking long and hard, ive decided to buy a new jdm gsr motor from hmotorsonline and start over. im going to use my previous bolt-ons, get it tuned at church automotive and drive that for a while. that should still put down some decent power.

then, later on down the road, ill have it built the right way this time so that something like this doesnt happen again.

im not ready to give up the honda game just yet...
