Car does not go past 3000 on the rpm
I'm thinking it has to do with the intake or throttle body because I checked the distribuator. I sent my car to a mechanic and he repaired the timing belt but now my car doesnt run. Any ideas what the car could have. Oh yeah another detail i found was the intake does like expolsions, so it's not passing air through my intake.
You need to give us more info bud. For all we know your talking about your sick dog!
So you just got your timing belt done but it won't crank? or it won't actually fire up or what?. List all the things you've done to your car, or had done to your car by a mechanic. What did he do to "repair" the timing belt? Put a bandaid with some glue to hold the belt together or what?
I suggust you pay more attention to what you and others are doing to your car so you can play a more active part in diagnosing its issues (not at all trying to be rude but when customers don't ask questions or pay attention to whats being done they have a tendency to get screwed over by the shop. They love to take advantage of ignorance so make sure you know exactly what they are doing and what they have replaced. Even ask for replaced parts. THEY HAVE TO GIVE YOU THEM if requested, so ASK for everything they take off, and match part numbers to your car. If numbers don't match they are f@acking you!
