when you/or previous owner did the swap, I take it you used the stock shifter and cables from the Prelude? If so, I would go with either a PSPEC Tunning or Forbidden Motorsports shifter

I can tell you that the shift levers from the 90-93/94-97/98-02 Accord and 92-96/97-01 Preludes all have different part numbers.

90-93/94-97 Accord and 92-96 Prelude look similar to each other while 98-02 Accord and 97-01 Preludes look similar.

I believe by adding a part to the 92-96 Prelude shifter you can make it work in the 90-97 Accords. You would have to dig up some old threads probably to find that info. But by looking at part diagrams on SLHonda or Majestic Honda I'm sure you can figure out which part would be needed.

Actually, after thinking about it... by comparing the shifter in the car to the diagrams online, you may be able to narrow it down as to which shifter you have in your car. I believe it's the mounting point for the upper most shift cable that is visually different between the Accord and Prelude.

The forbidden shifter is supposed to work on 90-93, 94-97 accords and 92-96 preludes. To make it work on an accord, there is one part that you have to purchase from honda. If you contact jeremy at forbiddenmotorsports.com, he'll let you know what part you need (and he's a good guy, too, so he might even be able to help you figure out which shifter assembly you have!)
