struts poping out please help

struts poping out please help
i installed my new skunk2 struts and springs and we reused the upper mounts we put them together double checked them and installed them but now the strut shaft is poping out the tower on top what is causing this bad bushings surly thats not all that hold the strut down is it

Been there, done that. 
Silver washer with the taper on it that sits on top of the shock shaft. You didn't put that in, did you? That's about the only stock part off the stock shocks you have to reuse.
Take everything back apart and put that washer in.
