in need to replacing a front driver side strut (whole assembly possibly) and was wondering if there was a different between any civics 01-02. i know the later 7th gens changed but between 01 and 02 was there a difference? for example, it's a 02 EX coupe would a 01 LX sedan front strut assembly fit? sorry if it's on here already, i tried searching and couldn't find anything.

 

The struts are the same.

 

ok thanks, so would the entire assembly be the same? found some front assemblies on sale (used of course) was wondering if i could just buy them and swap them in.

 

Much of the stuff is interchangable from 01-05 and all stuff is interchangable from 01-03, so youre good !!
