hey, just looking for some advice on exhaust manifolds for my jdm ek4 si saloon.

im currently running a jdm b16a engine with civic type r cams, a j's racing carbon fibre induction kit, 5zigen catback, 5zigen exhaust manifold. my question is, the exhaust manifold i have on is a 5zigen integra type r exhaust manifold, is this to big for my car and should i change it to a ek4 or is it fine to have it on my b16a? Some have said its too big and it would be causing me to loose power is this true?

i recently got the car rolling roaded and it was 182bhp at the fly, 158bhp at the wheels and 122 lb/ft of torque. Should those figures of been higher?
also i have a gearbox with a orc clutch and fly, spoon 1.5 way lsd, customized gears and a spoon 4.9 final drive, this might of effected the figures aswell?

yeah oem type r exhaust manifold is good for your set up.
and nice set up u have.

 

sorry ment to say its a 5zigen integra type r manifold i have on it not a standard integra type r manifold. is the 5zigen integra type r manifold ok on it or would i be better off with a 5zigen sir civic manifold?

yeah it is still a good aftermarket manifold 2.5" collector ?

yeah 2.5 inch collector. so i wont be loosing back pressure and power then no?
