Passing emissions in WA state...Any help??
I was wondering if anybody knew how I would pass emissions in WA state. The problem is my car's CEL is currently on. It currently only has bolt-ons (carsound cat, fujitsubo catback). If anybody has any info that would be great. Thanks.
its easy.... take out ur check engine light out... unless its obd2 then ur gonna have fix ur codes, btw emissions here are not strict, u can pass it with the bolts on. or u can take to north bend or other citie where they dont ask for emissions, but i dunno where u live, so i couldnt tell the closet cities that dosnt have inspection.
Wow take out your check light, nice, that wont work
. If your car is obd2 they require you to plug into the there system and it does a scan. If any check lights are on you fail atuomatically. Where you located in Washington? even if you reset your system you must drive at least 50 miles or they will know you reset it just before you came in. I am guessing you arent running your secondary o2 sensor right? lmk, I do side work for friends and customers and have helped quite a few pass with no problems.

like i said if its obd2 then u wouldnt be able to cause they read the computer, next time read the post correctly... and yes i passed emissions on my 1990 integra when i running vss code by takin out the light, so if u wanna call bull ****, then try it.
lol, on any obd0 or obd1 car they can careless if your check engine light is on, and I know this from experience. As long as it passes the sniff test your fine. Not getting in a pi$$ing match with you on who's right and I do know to read. The question is in the type R forum which means he has a 97 or newer ITR I am assuming and not a 90 da such as your self.
