i got some headers that are dented on the bottom from the car being too low, and hit a lot of bumps. i was wondering if i could take it to a shop and get the bottom piece rewelded? thaanks

 

i took mine to a fab shop that did tube frame cars and roll bar fab. guy charged 80 dollars and it looked awesome... till i dented it again

get it rewelded?

uhhhh do it yourself!

but out the parts that you want out then bevel all 4 edges of each pipe you want in (old pipes and new pipes)

that gives a place for the weld to fall in...................................... now DO IT!

PS: go buy a cheap GMAW @ home depot for about $500 and teach yourself a valuble skill that will cheapen everything you do to your car...............

Chicago... Illinois ... we can do that, not a problem. Well I would like to see pics but its probably like most other headers I have fixed in the past.
