Knocking/Feedback in brake while braking in gear,,,
I havent seen any posts on this so i hope im not asking a question that has already been answered. While in gear with my foot pressed all the way down on the clutch I feel a pulse and knocking in the brake. Doesnt feel like abs, so im not sure what it is. Also when im in gear and braking over a bump with my foot down on the clutch I also hear something going on, like a knock. Does anyone know what this could be? This isnt my first manual car and I dont remember this occuring in my 2000 EX. All replies appreciated.
I can tell you that the "knocking" you feel when braking over a bump is the ABS. Several poeple on this site have experienced the same thing and even tested it. As for the knocking in the brakes when clutching, I have not heard of anyone having this problem before.
Don't worry, it's not a problem. It is just your ABS kicking in. The ABS is really sensitive in the new civics for some reason.
