Default y7/y8 head mil ?

I have a y7/y8 mini me in the process right now and the head is at the machine shop. I wanted to know how much should i have the head milled for a little extra umph. I wanted to hear from anybody who has done this before. How much did you have your head milled. i know the max is .2mm based on a height of 93mm 3.66in.

all your really gonna do is throw your timing off. a y7/y8 mini me isnt gonna make any real noticeable power gains with the milling. id recomend to keep it stock man. IMHO

a little extra what? all your going to do is take it from like 9.1:1 to like 9.17:1 . seriously take just enough off to make sure its not warped and give it a good mating surface. YOU WILL NOT NOTICE ANYTHING BUT HEADACHES FROM THE TIMING. but thats the last im gonna comment about it im not gonna beat a dead horse

y7/y8 with mil bumps comp up to almost 10 1 so what are you talking about. ive done this swap before just never milled the head. i ve seen people who have milled the head and i want to know how much they milled it. Was this thread titled give me your opinion about milling my head? i didnt think so. So if you dont have an answer for my question dont respond. Thanks

so if you dont care about timing and all you want to do is get sick nasty compression why dont you just take off the max .2 mil? if youre not asking about peoples opinion about "how much "to take off then what are you asking?

Hey man im doing the same thing, only going to mill mine .02 tho. With a 2 layer head gasket and y7 block and pistons thatll run a 10.75.1 compresion, ull only get like 5 hp out ocf it but wtf why not.
