90 ef lhd to rhd
ok well my 90 hatch is pretty straight forward under the hood...the only difference is cold air intake, ngk plugs and wires. keeping it somewhat stock under the hood for now..its a d15 sohc no si or vtec.
i want to swap over to rhd but am not sure exactly what i need (besides the obvious jdm dash). what other problems would i run into besides this? and how hard would the dash be to find? i've seen on some of these threads mentioning a "donor car" and if that was the case i'de fix that one up haha.
im not interested in swapping to b16 i just got this dropped on skunk2 adj coil overs primer light gray sitting on black steelies.
please let me know what i would HAVE TO REPLACE....
90 ef hatch d15 stock clean
97 ek hatch b18c1 lsvtec swap

LOL you need more than just the dash...
First you would need a complete RHD front clip. You have to strip down every wire and piece of plastic.
Now comes the fun part, you must then drill out/cut out your firewall and swap it with the RHD (lots of work and it has to be perfect)
Now you have the fun task of re-routing all of your hardlines for your brakes and fuel.
Don't forget the RHD steering rack and front and rear crossmembers (different)
Downsides now....Don't get me started on the wiring. Obiously the dash wiring will be backwards but what many don't realize is that the engine harness has some wires switched aswell (which you must run with the jdm dash)
Now don't forget that your gas tank popper is now on the passanger side and never ever forget that it doesn't matter how much you change and convert, it will always be a conversion and nothing will ever work perfect unless it was a genuine RHD

To sum up you need:
RHD firewall
RHD dash
RHD steering colmn
RHD combo switch
Complete RHD dash wiring
RHD engine wiring
RHD wiper motors
RHD front/rear crossmembers
RHD steering rack
Rebend hardlines
ect.
