Is that really a 42R on that SOHC?

 

Yeah thats really a GT4294R on a sohc. the intercooler will be done tonight and will post pics. It will be hitting the dyno in a few weeks.

who else is running a big turbo like mine. Yeah i hope it works out too. should be putting it on the dyno in the next few weeks. with post graphs and maybe a video

I might be their but not sure. my front rims are on back order and wont be in till the begining of april. may get some street slicks for my 15s. I also have to get my rollcage in but that should be going in asap

dude that is a seriously large turbo for a D series, I wish you the best and please let us know how it turns out

 

oh the guy with the S372 on turboD16.com. im not gonna use nitrous. ill see how she does with the 2step with anti lag.

 

I'm still curious why you need a 800+whp turbo on a motor that will never come anywhere close to that.

because he can... afford one.

A hint to OP. you better bolt that engine to some solid mounts.

 

it doesnt leave me with much to say other than im rather interested to see the outcome

Looks nice... I dont think I have seen a SOHC with a 42r, I hope it works for you I do, it will show alot of people one way or another either it works or it dosnt. I hope it does for you is it still a 1.6l sleeved or any bigger?

this is going to be killer

 

the engine that is in the car right now is only bored .20 over. but the new engine is bein built but custom parts take a while to be made so this is just a temporary engine. the new one with be 1.8L

 

nice, do the tires rub the radius rods when you turn?

 

thwy actual arent atached yet. i need to finish mountiin the ends to the traction bar and the bottom radiator support. but the tires wont rub when i turn after they are finished

 

I see, in the pics it looks like they are set too far apart.

 

I'm impressed! I think your going to end up switching turbo's though!
