My 87 CRX with 1500 carb engine wont start when its REALLY cold. Id say below 35-40 degrees it cranks but no start. Here is where i am thus far: Intake Air Temp switch is getting no power on the R/Y wire from Emission Control Unit. IAT does have continuity from R/Y splice to Ground. What inputs to the ECU should i check out for proper operation or should i try and get a new ECU?

 

So I take it you mean -35 to -40 degrees celcius....

Are you plugging it in?

Choke working properly?

Battery low?

 

CHECK IF A LIGHT IN THE ECU IS BLINKING BEFORE U REPLACE IT
